Americans Promoting Study Abroad focuses on building local community connections to provide scholarships for public high school students. Our program is designed to challenge each Scholar, providing them with the chance to learn, grow and discover more about themselves and the world.
HOW SCHOLARS ARE SELECTED
APSA Scholars are American high school students between the age of 15 – 17 years old that come from a range of communities in the US.
We select youth that demonstrate a financial need, show academic achievement, a commitment to their community and a passion for learning new languages. Scholarships are given to selected students to participate in APSA's global education programs.
WHAT SCHOLARS LEARN
APSA ALUMNI NETWORK
Please email us for more information on our programs and scholarships.
APSA believes that future generations of Americans and American leaders must be able to cooperate, communicate and innovate across cultures to be successful in today's increasingly globalized workplace.
Our programs are designed to offer students the knowledge, experience, and motivation to establish the foundation for lifelong engagement with foreign cultures and helps prepare them with the skills they will need to engage globally.
Our program is the beginning of growth for many Scholars. Our APSA Alumni Network gains access to a range of suitable scholarships, volunteer work, internships, jobs and continual personal and professional development opportunities.
We value our Alumni and actively work to engage them through regular events, conferences and social gatherings.
